Our latest project with client Star Pubs & Bars is the refurbishment of The Globe pub in the centre of Newbury town centre in Berkshire. We provided quantity surveying support on the project which saw the pub revert back to its original name (from The Snooty Fox).
The building, which dates back to 1875, has been given a contemporary look, with the original timber flooring and brickwork being exposed. Booth seating and a snug have been created at the rear, with sofas. The toilets have been replaced, the kitchen refitted and the cellar upgraded.
